Warehouse Mechanic

Our client is a small retailer of contractor supplies is seeking person to hire full time for customer service, mechanic, and warehouseman position.  All of their customers are business to business and repeat business. They build and maintain relationships with these client’s by providing excellent customer service, technical support, equipment, parts and repairs, rentals, training, and an excellent selection of products at a fair price.  They have been in business since 1973 and a have dominant market share in south Florida. The employee will learn our computer system, basic electrical diagrams, other mechanic skills all while being paid.

Wants someone to help maintain the equipment but will teach the right person. Wants a candidate mechanically inclined. 

Seeking one person: Full time: Customer Service/Warehouseman/Mechanic

$12 Once perm an incentive kicks in, $$ on every machine fixed could bump to $30K.

40 hour work week.  (40 regular)(Occasional Overtime)

Monday – Friday 8am-5pm               

1 Hour lunch break

  • Be open to new educational opportunities to update job knowledge
  • Will train on all skills required for this position
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Able to fit into tight spaces for repairs and stocking
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Eager to help, happy, easy going, can-do attitude
  • Emotionally Stable
  • Strong sense of customer service

Primary Tasks:  Repairing various cleaning equipment, checking in large shipments, stocking shelves, frequent dialogue with manager, vendors, and customers. Janitorial tasks such as cleaning floors, bathrooms, and all common areas.

We will train in all aspects of the job.

Applicant Should:

- Know Basic Hand Tools 

- Have Good Verbal Skills

- Have good comprehension

- Good Reading Skills

- Be Fast and Accurate (Not mistake prone)

- Have Basic Computer Skills (Word, Internet Explorer, be able to type)

- Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Someone with basic mechanical skills that can read and comprehend what they just read.  Person must be able to work in hot and confined spaces at times.
